How To Make Pretty Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards
– Download the free Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards Templates, there are two to choose from. Print the template onto coloured printer card. We love Pastel colours for our Easter Bunny Cards. (Get yours at the bottom of this tutorial.)
– Carefully cut out the middle of the bunny template. You might need to do this part for younger children.
– Using card of a contrasting colour cut a rectangle a little bigger than the rabbit cut out shape.
– Cut a length of coloured yarn and sticky tape one end to the cardstock rectangle. Wrap the yarn around and secure the other end with sticky tape too. Keep all your sticky tape on one side of the cardstock.
– Repeat this yarn wrapping process with different coloured yarns.
– Fold the Easter Bunny Card template in half so that it opens and shuts.
– Glue your yarn wrapped cardstock on to the back of the bunny cut out inside the card.
– If you want the inside of your yarn wrapped Easter bunny card to be neat and tidy cut a piece of white printer cardstock slightly smaller than the card itself and glue it inside to cover the back of the yarn wrapping.
– Glue a white pom pom bunny tail onto the front of the Easter card.
– Write your Easter or Springtime message inside your greeting card.
– Theses Yarn Wrapped Easter Bunny Cards are perfect for cute Bunny rabbit puns! We chose “Hoppy Easter” for one and “Some Bunny Loves You” for the other!
