Snuffle, hop, we are delighted to share this super cute bunny craft with you today! You guys gave us such positive feedback about our simple Hatching Chick Easter Cards we decided to make some Easy Easter Bunny Cards to go with them. These bunny easter cards and the chick cards are both based around a simple egg shaped design so they look great together!
This Easter Bunny craft is easy to make with the printable template. You can trace around the pattern or print it straight onto coloured card.
We made lots of Easter Bunny Cards in different pastel colours and they are the cutest! We’re sure you and the kids will love them too.
We added some wiggle eyes, pipe cleaner whiskers and pom pom tails to our Bunny Cards but the printable does come with paper eyes, noses and tails if you prefer or you could easily draw these features on instead.
Easy Peasy Easter Bunny Cards Tutorial
Supplies To Make Simple Bunny Cards:
- Printable Bunny Card Template
- Coloured Printer Cardstock
- Pompoms
- Wiggle Eyes
- Pipe Cleaners
- Marker Pens
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make Easy Easter Bunny Cards
1 – Print the template. Print page one onto coloured card and if you want to use the paper eyes, nose and tail print page 3 onto white card.
2 – Cut out all the pieces.
3 – Colour in the middle of the ears with marker pen.
4 – Add some toes to the rabbit’s feet.
5 – Fold the rabbit’s body in half so it hinges at the top and glue the ears and feet onto the back.
6 – Either draw on whiskers or cut a long pipe cleaner into 2 and fold each piece in half. Glue them onto the front.
7 – Glue on a cute pom pom nose and wiggle eyes. (Or use the paper ones on page 2 of the template or draw them on if you prefer.)
8 – Draw on a cute smile.
9 – Open up your Bunny cards and write your messages inside.
10 – Glue a pom pom tail on to the back or use the paper one from page 2 of the template.
